1.Describethe craftsmanshipof your drawing. (Is it neat and well executed?)
A good part of it is well done with good craftsmanship but because I rarely Finnish art projects on time I had to kind of cut my losses and rush through the last bit. But 70 percent of it was well done in my opinion. I'm glad with how the bottom ribbon and table reflections turned out 2.Describehow your background choices help unify the three artworks and tie them together as one piece of art. I just drew what was in the background in my picture its not very expressive but the reflections on the table are a lot like the bright hi lights in an opacity drawing so I think it all ties together alsoI put objects next to the clear bin so the reflection could show. (a board-game, minora with the candles shining and a blur of blue from a bag proper against the board-game.) 3.Describeyour choice of colors/color harmoniesand how you used them throughout the artwork. I tried to pay attention to the lights, dark, and highlights in the ribbon while also using different colors from pink to indigo to black to keep it from looking bland. 4.How did you create contrast in your drawing? The blue ribbons to the warm brown background. 5.How did you use textures, highlights and shadowsto enhance your artwork? In the ribbons the highlights make the bow pop and it gets darker tweeds the fact to show space. 6.Why did you choose a particular backgroundcolor to mount your artwork? This particular table was close to an outlet so I could plug in my minora and get that light and reflection and also add to the holiday theme. 7.Discuss the importance of understanding the media (prisma or pastels) and acquiring the skills necessary to create a successful project. With prismacolor you need to use your range of color, if you just stick to the same five pencils your artwork will suffer. 8.Describeany difficulties you had creating your drawing and what you could do to improve your drawing? A difficulty that I always face is weather to take meh time and make something I'm proud of or to actually Finnish a project on time and in the end I think this problem will only be solved when I've drawn enough to easily get into the flow of drawing without too much hesitation.
